Granite and Corian are very durable & practical surfaces, what benefits if any, can Surface Lock provide them?

Both stone types are in fact very practical for everyday use and in most cases are not vulnerable to staining & etching. Granite and corian commonly have less than a vibrant luster and do incur scratching over time because many users forgo cutting boards and chop directly on the surface. Due to the very rich depth in natural colors and crystallized flakes that are especially found in granite more so than in other stone types, Surface Lock actually provides the most dramatic face lift to these surfaces. If your granite has mineral rich characteristics, but doesn’t pop with life when you look at it, the addition of Surface Lock will absolutely give you the equivalent feeling of having just installed brand new high-definition countertops regardless of how old they are. The only catch is, No more chopping on the surface!
